When you hire a PROFESSIONAL BIRTH PHOTOGRAPHER…
YOU ARE THE PRIORITY: As your birth photographer, I go on-call for you 24/7 starting at 38 weeks. If you go into labor on a day that I have other sessions or appointments scheduled, I call and reschedule so that I can be present at your birth.
YOU ARE RESPECTED: Respecting your birth space is of upmost importance to me. It is a privilege for me to be invited into such an intimate setting to capture your story. Making sure that the atmosphere remains calm and stress free, is a priority to me.
YOU ARE SUPPORTED: You are NOT “just another client” to me. I am honored to be apart of your birth team and while I am not a medical professional and I do not offer medical advice, please know that I am always on your team cheering you closer to the birth you dreamed of!

Pre-booking Consult: A complimentary 30-minute phone call where we can chat about your vision for your birth and decide whether or not we would be a good fit.
Prenatal Appointment: A complimentary 60-minute appointment that takes place in your third trimester. We will discuss your birth preferences as well as get to know each other a little bit better.

“I chose Katherine Stephens Photography for my maternity, delivery, and newborn photos. She made my husband and I feel like family the moment we met her. She smoothly directed us through every shoot and worked hard to get the best photos possible. She introduced the idea of a delivery shoot that I initially didn’t want to do because I am a very private person, but she explained the process and convinced me it would be worth it. She stayed in close contact with me before delivery and was then there for me for 14 hours of my labor and throughout my delivery. Katherine took beautiful pictures in the hospital and then at her home where she had a beautiful set for newborn photos and took hundreds to make sure she had the perfect ones.
